I really enjoyed my experience with Intentional Product Manager and would highly recommend to anyone who is actively looking for a job. I was moving back to the US after many years away and hadn't interviewed in a while. Shobhit and Sam have an extremely structured approach in helping applicants get ready. They have a checklist of items that you have to finish every week and this really helps keep things on track. The program helps with both the small details and the bigger challenges in preparing for an interview. The small details can sometimes make a remarkable difference and the fact that you can get feedback on everything from your online profiles to your camera settings is great. To tackle the challenging case study and interview questions that you may face, IPM has super-experienced interviewers who give actionable feedback that helps you get better. The feedback is tracked methodically to ensure progress. All of these steps are really thought through and help drive meaningful results.

I am a mid-career Product Management professional with an MBA, and a previous Faang experience, so the interview process is not new for me.
I used to do it all by myself and I now realize it’s not necessary and not even sensible.
I’d credit the well-structured approach, a supportive community and the rigor from the coaches as complementary to my own efforts. I started feeling more prepared and the mindset work was invaluable for me.
If you are serious about landing a strong Product management offer, why would you not join this program and learn from the best?

When I came across Intentional Product Manager, I had been with my company for about eight years. I was at a fork in the road where I had to decide where I wanted to be and how I needed to get there.
I was sharing my resume, but the response I received was not meeting my expectations. I could not figure out where I was going wrong or how I could approach this process better.
When I found the Intentional Job Search program, I did have some hesitations. I asked myself if I could genuinely convert this program into something meaningful for my career. I wondered about the financial commitment and if the risk was worth taking.
Then I scheduled my call. My initial conversation with Shobhit blew away any hesitations I was having about joining this program. Even though I did not financially commit yet, Shobhit still gave me highly beneficial food for thought. I weight the cost versus benefit, recognized Shobhit’s credentials, and felt as if I’d hit a gold mine.

When I started working with Sam and Shobhit, I was aiming for a senior-level product management position. I started two companies, and my career had seen its fair share of achievements. While I had a wealth of experience working in product I never held a formal product management title, and I was unsure how to make the switch. This fact alone led me to seek out some guidance.
I weighed the benefits of the investment versus how long it would take me to land a job on my own and committed to the Intentional Job Search. Any hesitations that I had were alleviated when I spoke to Sam and Shobhit and learned of their many years of experience working in product to help me.
They taught me to frame my experience concerning product management and how to best tell my story. We honed in on the narrative and worked on best practices to make this transition happen, and it did. After two months in the program, Shobhit and Sam helped me exceed my goal, and I landed a position as Director of Product Management.
I would tell anyone contemplating this program to do the same thing I did. Think about how long it would take you to get where you want to be on your own versus with guidance from two seasoned mentors. I am so thankful I decided to invest in myself and this program. Thanks Shobhit and Sam!

I came to Shobhit and Sam with an open-ended question of finding what’s next for me in my professional journey. I had a great job, and I was surrounded by kind people, but I felt stuck. I wasn’t growing or learning as much as I would have liked. I knew I needed a change, but wasn’t sure what that change would be. The assistance I got from Shobhit and Sam was phenomenal. They made sure that I just wasn't applying for a cool job but was making sure that it was the right step for me in fulfilling my long-term career goal. They helped me end-to-end - from career planning to offer negotiation. I was also pleasantly surprised by the amount of support and resources that came from the entire community. I landed a role at Amazon as a Senior Product Marketing Manager, and I couldn't be more excited.

With Intentional Job Search, I managed to land a significant role as a Senior Principal Product Manager at Oracle. This role not only satiates my passion for healthcare but also empowers me to oversee the entire lifecycle of an innovative product. Before I engaged with IJS, I aimed for TPM roles and even succeeded in securing the L5 TPM position at Google. However, unforeseen circumstances prevented a team match. During this time, a dear friend suggested I venture into Product Management, introducing me to Shobhit.Upon my association with IJS, I set three goals:1)The transition from consulting to product management.2)Secure a role at one of the FAANG companies.3)Remain in Dallas with enhanced compensation. While my journey began on a promising note with interviews from FAANG, personal setbacks led me to lose momentum more than once. Yet, with IJS, I acquired essential insights like the importance of emphasizing one's unique strengths, crafting impactful narratives, and fostering a clear and positive outlook.I renewed my job search in April this year, and before long, the doors of Oracle opened for me. My heartfelt gratitude goes to Shobhit, Sam, and the dedicated team of mindset and interview coaches at IJS. Their invaluable feedback has enriched both my personal and professional spheres. A shoutout to my peers at IJS, with whom I shared enlightening discussions and practice sessions.I am looking forward to staying connected with this wonderful community, and I highly recommend it to others!

Director of Product (AI) @ Toric
This successful consultant was not even sure that he wanted to get into product management, but now:
Shishir is a Director of Outbound Product Management at a top Company (ServiceNow).
But that’s just the starting: Shishir was targeting a Senior Product Role, but he got TWO Director roles!
What happened exactly?
🟣Shishir decided that the product route was for him
🟣He quickly decided that he would do much better if he had the guidance he needed, so he decided to join Intentional Job Search
🟣Needed a way to land interviews with target companies and land his dream roles
🟣But having worked in consulting rather than tech was a hurdle
🟣Telling his story in a way that resonated with the hiring manager wasn’t easy
🟣Built a Job Search Strategy that leveraged his core skillsets
🟣 Learned to tell his stories in a light that positioned him as a tech product leader
🟣Started his interviews
But even then, there were obstacles!
🔴He got close but did not land his target opportunities
🔴He started to lose confidence - could he actually do it? Would he have to take a junior role and take a paycut?
At this point, his determination shone through.
💜He dedicated himself to mindset practices that rebuilt his confidence
💜He gave his job search the priority and dedication he needed
💜He got feedback from coaches on behavioral, product design, strategy, and analytics interviews
With the newfound skills and confidence, Shishir was able to:
🚀Apply for a few jobs and interview at two target companies
🚀 Interviewed confidently, knowing that he had learned what he needed to
🚀 Land two offers at a Director level, one level above where he initially targeted!
🚀 Negotiate and accept the top offer that felt like a fantastic cultural fit!

Even with a great resume filled with many unicorn startups and Google, this successful product leader was not gaining much traction in his job search, but now:
Miles is thriving as the Director of AI Products at Toric.
So what happened exactly?
🟣Two stagnant months pass, and Miles decides this is an awful job market; he can't win the job hunt solo.
🟣He believed his resume was enough, but it wasn't getting him many hits.
🟣He opted for help, joining the Intentional Job Search to land this next role.
🟣 Already in interview mode, the course was tailored to his needs.
🟣 Its adaptability ensured he excelled in the early stages of interviewing.
But it wasn't all smooth sailing.
🔴 Miles presented himself as a “Swiss Army Knife” who could do anything - which made him
🔴 His career goals were unclear.
However, Miles' resolve shone through
💜He worked with coaches to outline what was truly important to him from his next role
💜He became comfortable in rejecting companies that didn't match his aspirations.
💜 Delving into mindset practices, he built bulletproof confidence and clarity that a layoff did not define him.
💜 He positioned himself as a product leader, which helped him come across as the best fit for his target role.
💜 He refined his story and got direct, tough feedback from coaches that helped him prove himself.
This newfound clarity and self-assurance empowered Miles to:
🚀Target jobs that harmonized with his goals and values.
🚀 Build traction with hiring managers, communicating his career ambitions.
🚀 Use his existing offer to accelerate the process, resulting in a 4-day window from the first interview to the offer.
🚀 Landed multiple offers, then negotiated and accepted an offer that was a glove-like fit.
